Double Play Powerball game

Double Play is a new addition to the Powerball game that gives players in certain jurisdictions an extra chance to match their Powerball numbers in a separate draw for the top prize of $10 million.

Players can add the Two Players feature to their Powerball tickets for an extra $1 per game. Double Play draws take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday after the Powerball draw.

Players place bets on the same numbers in both the Powerball Draw and the Double Play Draw, and Powerball tickets with the Double Play® feature are eligible to win in both draws.

Players can use both the Power Play and Double Play features on their Powerball tickets, but the Power Play multiplier does not apply to prizes won in Double Play draws.

Where to play Double play Powerball?

The 14 lotteries offer perks for double bets: Colorado, Florida, Indiana (Indiana), Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee and Washington.

Other lotteries may choose to offer two-player games at a later date.

What are Powerball Double Play pricez and odds?

Double Play has the same odds as Powerball, but with a different payout structure. Powerball® has a rolling jackpot and Double Play has a top prize of $10 million.

Both Double Play and Powerball have winning numbers drawn from the same two sets of numbers: five numbers drawn from the first set of numbers 1-69 and one Powerball number drawn from the first set of numbers 1-26. In Powerball and two-player draws, players try to find the same set of numbers on their tickets.
